A director of WK since 2009, Vaughan first joined WK in 1996 and has more than 20 years’ experience working as an accountant in both New Zealand and the UK.

After graduating from the University of Canterbury with First Class Honours, Vaughan has continued to settle for no less than excellence in his work, specialising in budgeting and cash flow forecasting, management reporting and taxation and also working in an advisory capacity on boards for some of his larger clients. Vaughan has a particular interest in the winery, professional services, craft beer and hospitality industries.

Outside work, Vaughan’s dedication to being a valuable member of a group is evident, seeing him represent Marlborough and Poverty Bay in senior men’s cricket, captain Wairau Cricket Club, become a Director of the Marlborough Cricket Association, and treasurer of Wairau Cricket Club.

He also coaches junior rugby, gets involved with most sports and enjoys fishing and travel.

Vaughan returned home to Marlborough in 2006 after time away to cash in on the fantastic lifestyle it has to offer with his family, wife Jodi and children Josh and Mia.
