Accounting in the Cloud – it’s here
In June we signalled the arrival of the “cloud based” accounting software “Figured on Farm” and “Xero”, at that stage we could see that it had real potential for our farming clients. With another couple of months getting our hands dirty with the systems we are confident this is a solution that will provide farmers and their other advisers with a powerful tool to assist in managing the farming business. So much so we have had a large group of our staff undertake specific training to become proficient in its use.
We now have a tool that will allow us to provide real time reporting against budget, create “what if” scenarios, while at the same time it looks after the GST and end of year annual accounting chores. Having an application based in the cloud means that upgrades are a thing of the past, swapping files between other software systems is done away with, backups are done for you, your important data is safe, it is stored offsite so if a natural disaster occurs you are protected. The benefits are immense!
At Winstanley Kerridge we pride ourselves on being innovative, the Xero & Figured option for farming clients is just another example of this. We are lucky to have been selected by Xero & Figured to be amongst the first few accounting firms nationally to use the Figured & Xero combination for year-end 2014 reporting.
We are really excited about what Figured & Xero can do for you and will be happy to talk to you about how this can help in your circumstances, give us a call…
