Introducing Xero Projects

You asked and Xero heard, Xero Projects is on its way! The initial release of Projects will be a great tool for small business in the professional services industries; digital, creative and IT.

What is it?

Xero Projects is “A simple way to capture, track and report on the time and money spent on each job so you can proactively invoice, make informed decisions and manage your business more efficiently.”

The initial release of Projects will be a great tool for small business in the professional services industries; digital, creative and IT. However, other industries will continue to be added as Xero further develops the Projects feature.
Using this simple time and cost tracking tool will allow you to keep an eye on all the jobs you have on the go, which will make it easier to stick to budgets and pinpoint where each job is at.  Projects allows you to monitor your projects' budgets, through easy project invoicing and both fixed price and time billing.

Projects

Projects focuses on the financial side of project management, and integrates with other Xero features such as contacts, invoicing, bills and bank reconciliation. So, if you are a small business with simple costing needs, projects might be just what you need to make your life a little bit easier.
