Coming from a rural background, a career in primary industry accounting was a natural progression for Craig.

He moved to Marlborough in 2014 after living in rural areas his entire life, during which he spent time dairy farming and share milking on the West Coast and in Murchison.

Craig has also worked in forestry as a foreman of a silviculture gang, and upon his arrival in Marlborough spent a season working on a vineyard.

In 2015, Craig joined WK and studied toward his Bachelor of Accounting extramurally through Massey University while working full time, and is now working towards his Chartered Accountancy.

Craig has a love of travel and spent time delivering yachts while working in the UK, with one trip taking him across the Atlantic Ocean.

Back home, Craig enjoys spending time at the family bach in the Marlborough Sounds, vintage motocross and tramping.

He lives with his partner, and between them they have a nine-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son.
