Debbie joined the WK team in 2021 as a Senior Advisor, specialising in Management Accounting working with client’s budgets and forecasts. Debbie is a Chartered Accountant and studied at Auckland University completing a Bachelor in Commerce. She brings extensive commercial experience, is a Xero hero and has won a CIMA Excellence Award for Strategic Management Accounting.
Before joining WK as a Senior Advisor, Debbie worked in many interesting roles including as General Manager of the Kamo Wildlife Sanctuary in Whangarei, New Zealand where she led a dedicated animal care team, designed and project managed two new state-of-the-art lion enclosures.
Debbie believes accounting hasn’t changed too much over the years, except for the days of pen and paper work papers!
