Purpose of the role

Our Advisor role is key to supporting our senior team delivering on client service.  Full training will be provided to allow you to undertake these key responsibilities for the role:

  • Preparing annual financial statements for company statutory reporting for a diverse client portfolio;
  • Preparing a variety of clients’ tax returns including GST, FBT, PAYE, RWT, and income tax returns;
  • Preparing monthly management accounts for select clients;
  • Assisting our senior team to provide clients with full advisory services.

About you

You may be a school leaver, accounting graduate or office admin star seeking a rewarding new career in a professional environment; or you may have a year or two experience in an accounting firm.

You will also:

  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Have the desire and drive to learn and continually develop your skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve
  • Be competent using IT and software (Xero is a bonus!)

You will be well rewarded and be part of a friendly and vibrant team, working from modern offices in Blenheim.

In addition to offering study support, we are registered as an ATE and support staff to fulfil CAANZ entry requirements.
