Ed joined WK in April 2025 when his previous practice EPA Business merged with WK Christchurch. With over 40 years in public practice Ed brings a wealth of experience to the businesses he works with. Having been a business owner outside of the accounting profession Ed knows the pitfalls , risks and benefits of being in business and he brings that experience and knowledge in acting for his clients. Ed acts for a diverse range of clients and industries in the small to medium business space.

Ed’s commitment extends into the community, especially within the Canterbury squash scene.  He has dedicated significant time to squash administration, serving multiple terms as Chairman and Trustee for the Canterbury Squash Foundation Trust, holding board positions with Squash New Zealand and Squash Canterbury, and acting as Treasurer for the Christchurch Squash Club for many years. He was recently granted life membership for his local squash club.

It’s no surprise that Ed is also an avid squash player himself. He has consistently represented Canterbury in Masters Squash across various age groups for nearly two decades and represented New Zealand in the Masters team in 2007.

Outside of his professional and squash commitments, Ed enjoys spending  time with his wife Lindy and their children, and grandchildren, and spending as much time as he can in the lovely town of Wanaka.
