Paving the way for WK Christchurch, Aaron Cassidy joined the team in 2018 after 14 years working in the Canterbury accounting and business advisory scene.

With more than 18 years tax experience, including nine years at PwC and four as director, Simon Ross joined the WK team based out of Christchurch as Head of Tax in March 2020. Simon was appointed as a Director of the Christchurch office in 2021 and remains Head of Tax for the WK group.

Ed joined WK in April 2025 when his previous practice EPA Business merged with WK Christchurch. With over 40 years in public practice Ed brings a wealth of experience to the businesses he works with.

A born-and-bred Cantabrian, Daniel joined the WK Christchurch team in 2025 following the merger with EPA Business. He brings a wealth of experience from serving the local business community for many years.

Kim works with clients from a variety of different verticals while juggling her specialist role of leading strategic advisory and planning for WK. Kim studied at Otago University and worked as an accountant in Mid Canterbury before joining WK in 2013 and now works with clients in both Marlborough and Canterbury.

With over a decade of experience in office management, Jayne joined WK Christchurch as Administration Manager in September 2022.

Andrea joined WK Christchurch in 2019, the beginning of her second stint at WK after working at the Blenheim office around 15 years earlier.

Renee Hughes is an experienced Accountant with a BCom majoring in Accounting, Finance & Information Systems, Graduate Diploma in Accounting Finance and Information Systems.

Shannon is an accounting professional with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Canterbury University and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) through CAANZ. She has been an accountant since 2012; she joined our Christchurch office in 2024.

Kiri Atkin is a chartered accountant and senior tax advisor with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in taxation and a minor in French from the University of Canterbury.

Leanne joined WK Christchurch in April 2023, bringing experience gained from working in the accounting industry since 2014. Leanne is a Xero Certified Advisor with expertise in applying Xero to achieve results.
